Re: [Diesel-RVs] unknown vibration when coasting

My first guess would be U-joints. I have a 2002 Ultimate Advantage with 32,000 miles on it. Just came back from Myrtle Beach and started to get a vibration / roar. I did not think U-joints as they had been lubed more frequently than called for. Took to Cummins South --- ended up being a U-joint. The grease distribution channels had a defect in the making of the U-joint. Even though they were greasing them as called for, the grease was not getting where it should be going. They replaced both U-joints and the noise / vibration went away.
