Oh crap Max ;
I'm sorry to hear this .
I hope you can at least walk O.K. .
I was hoping to hear of some <magic> fix to staunch the slow R-12 leak , guess I'll just have Victor evacuate and re charge it again .
It's really nice in there when it's working , I know the white paint helps ! .
Death Valley @ 60° F is sweet , lemme tell you .
To - day wasn't as hot as yesterday but I took the drive shaft out of my Mighty Metropolitan Nash Sports Coupe (Road Rally coming up soon) so I drove my Mercedes Coupe and it's AC is chill .
OOPS ! I wonder if it'll now decide to go kaput to - morrow .

I shouldn't have bragged about the ice cold R-12 AC in my '82 240D ! .
To - day was a scorcher , it was 96° F @ 3:00 PM and the AC barely blew 80°........
This will be the second or third time I've had to evacuate and re charge it , I am not proficient enough to find the leak and my AC guy won't , he says 4 ~ 5 years before it fails is fine , just go buy more R-12 .
Dammit .
