[diesel_mercedes] Fuel Economy Check '84 300CD Slushbox

 

422 miles, 26 MPG ~ that's 4MPG better than the last tank, still using Biobor JF .

Sadly, this time there was once again sime fine black silt in the micronic paper element filter in the fuel return line, I added a bit more Biobo JF than last time, I'm close to out and this is the first bit of crud I've seen i thee maybe four tankfulls, all were filled from the same ProPel bio diesel station .

Grrr......

At least I finally got a decent fuel mileage .

[diesel_mercedes] Highbeams aren't working

 

Hi,

I noticed my high beams aren't working, either with the stalk pushed in
or pulled out to flash, and no power to the fuses. I'm assuming the turn
signal stalk, yet is there anything else in the system? Headlight
switch, to stalk, to fusebox to lights? Anybody fix this before?

I was going to see if cleaning the turn signal stalk would help. Turn
signals and low beams seem fine.
New Uro ones are $57
