[diesel_mercedes] Fuel Economy Check '84 300CD Auto

 

No AC use (! no heat either !) mostly commuting silver bottle Diesel Kleen used 394 miles , 27 MPG , that's better than usual .

It's still smoking too much , mostly as I pull away from a dead stop .

The # 1 element on the IP is still weeping too , I dasn't touch it as this is my only running car right now .

To - morrow I'm off early to look for a good used ( ) ATE brand left front brake caliper , some MORE door checks and a left rear brake caliper for Tom's W-126 .

Be careful out there Max .

The rain storm we had last week has been drifting East and causing snowy mayhem every where it went .

My buddy in Rural Mn. has been suffering below zero temps and asking for California sunshine .

You'll hate me for this but I didn't pop the hood because it had the big six , I'da been forced to make a ca$h offer on the spot.....

If I get over that way again I'll try to snap a photo of it ~ imagine : a RUST FREE old Scamp with NO DENTS , a re spray and SHINY CHROME ! =8-) .
