My folks are OK. I was up there to see them over the 4th of July weekend. As my MB needs some repairs before I do any long road trips with it, I had to drive another car from the fleet, and thus didn't report the journey on this list.
You're right, My folks are close to the fire, one road to north Hwy 120, Groveland. The Rim fire a few years ago got really close from the other side. Fire is scary stuff. I look at the fire maps each day, to see where it's going.
