I'd love the 15"s on my 300D, yet not at that price.

I'm wondering what tire size most guys have on their 123's. The stock size seems small for these cars. Any comments? Max

If you want the REAL inside skinny on Otto, Daimler, Diesel, Benz and Bosch read >From Engines to Autos, 1960. This is an English translation by Peter White of Vom Motor zum Auto: Funf Manner und ihr Werk, 1957.
Good stuff and maybe can be found on eBay or Amazon. Bill in Oregon

Dear Nate,
How better to enjoy a warm summer weekend than to treat yourself and your classic Mercedes-Benz to a fun-filled getaway? Make sure your classic is good to go before you take off on a longer trip and check your fluids and tires, especially if your classic has been garaged over the winter. And whether you're heading for a specific destination or are driving just for the fun of it, from the Mercedes-Benz Classic Center team, here's to a season of safe and enjoyable summer motoring.
On June 2, 1957 Paul O'Shea, two-time American Sports Car Champion in Class D, wins the first race in the 300 SLS in Fort Worth, Texas/USA. Daimler-Benz built just two examples of this weight-optimized racing sports car that was based on the 300 SL Roadster. With the fate of the two originals unknown, Mercedes-Benz Classic has fulfilled a customer's dream and restored a standard production 300 SL Roadster to the authentic SLS specifications. This tribute is currently traveling the Concours d'Elegance circuit and will be on display at the 2017 Legends of the Autobahn event as well as the Mercedes-Benz Star Lounge at Pebble Beach in August. Don't miss out on the chance to see and hear this remarkable 300 SLS in person.

One of the first things to wear on every car is the door sill. Despite our best efforts, every entry and exit adds to the attrition of the chrome moldings. Treat your 230 / 250 / 280 SL (W113 series) to a clean entry with a new set of door sill moldings. The 4-piece set includes the trim pieces on both sides of the sill rubber. Now available for $712.00 (was $890.00). The rubber insert for the sill is also available separately. Call or email our Classic Parts Specialists and get your order in today!
