Good morning ;
I hope not ! .
SWMBO would be upset if I change it , she likes it just as it is , basic and mostly stock .
I was able to grab quite a bit of door hardware and toss it in , then Tom found the undamaged door card in the trunk so I slapped that on along with an item I'm keen to see if I can make work , a little factory up grade I've been wanting to try for some time now .
I also bought the nice lower rear seat cushion , it has nice Palomino materiel on it and no rips/tears although it the greasiest one I've seen in a long time ~ it'll take much patience and Meguiar's #40 to clean it but I have that and the special soft brush necessary for proper upholstery cleaning too .
It has nice pads in it ~ the original one on my '82 240D is close to sitting on the springs these days , the Boys don't complain but I think they'll like this much better .
This morning I pulled the trigger and ordered in a brandy new window lift .

I noticed that too, thus my question the other day. The doors look like they can go either way, and I thought the panels too . I still think a electric window could be put in a car with manuals if you had to. max

I was looking at a gutted door to day , it was from an electric window car but might be the same as manual judging by the unused holes in it .
Does anyone know for sure ? .
I can always buy a brandy new lift if i have to but un dented , un rusted doors don't grow on trees , not even here in the Desert .
