[diesel_mercedes] Have a lead on a 92 300D. Any hints to look for?

 

I really don't need this car, but.... it looks like a great deal. I
already have an '81 and '82 240D and a '85 300D. I may just buy this to
resell it.

The want ads at work turn out to be a great find. The ad just says 92
silver 300D turbo diesel 254K miles, part of estate sale.

Looking on the internet, it looks like this could be the 124.133 body,
3.0L OM603.960 engine, inline 6. Is this an indirect injection? Any
other things to look for?

There also was a 4Matic around that time (124.330 with OM603.913
engine). This may be possible as it is in New Hampshire.

From what I have seen, this appears to be a steal at $1000.

Anyone have any warnings?
