As said, if you go to https://groups.io/g/dieselMercedes click on Subscription, top left of page and you will get a list pop up where you can select which option suits you. No Email is at the bottom.
I use Daily Summery which means I just get a list of the mails sent in the last 24 hours sent to me once a day. We're not generally a busy group so there won't be many. When you open the single summery mail sent to you, click on one that interests you and it will take you to the group, and that mail, If you want to read more, just explore the messages.
I've always used what Yahoo call Daily Digest and that is the same. You don't get your inbox bombarded all day, which is what you get if you select individual mails. Belonging to about 5 very active groups and another 5 or so fairly busy ones means that I'd be swamped!
