[diesel_mercedes] Fuel Crud

 


I wish I could download pictures off my iPod S5 ~ the micronic paper element filters are still turning brown every 150 miles or so but the stuff they're catching if incredibly fine powder, like flour or something ~ the clear plastic intake screen remains clear and the fuel looks fine .

We'll see how she goes this weekend as I'm off on a two day Road Rally....

I actually washed and hand waxed the entire car yesterday after setting the front wheel alignment (by eyeball, drives noticeably better now) , I didn't think I'd ever be able to hand polish anything again but I did and feel very pleased, the Couple still has dents & scratches but looks pretty good for 416,000 + miles I think .
