[diesel_mercedes] Working In Cold Weather......

 



I can dig it Brian ~ it's been in the 40's here off and on for a while  now, rainy too so working out in the cold wet reminds me of New Hampshire in 1967.....

The increased power and fuel economy from this one simple thing is pleasing .

451 miles,  27MPG, Biobor used .

 

Low fuel lamp on at 437 miles .

 

I replaced the open thermostat and that raised the engine's temperature from 40 ~ 60* C to 84* C and increased the power quite a bit .

 

It also improved this tank's fuel econmy in spite of close to 200 miles @ 80 + MPH .
