Have you checked the trans fluid level per the book’s instructions?  Bill in Oregon

Trans slipping bad. Matches most B2 posts I have read except reverse affected also. Came on suddenly over about a week. Does seem better at highway speed if you can get it there. About 190,000. I plan on pulling the pan to see if anything obvious is there. Doesn't look like my model can replace B2 in the car. There's a frame rail running next to the B2 with only about an inch of space. Any chance it's filter? What's the easiest way to drop the trans?

Actually the way I think it works is the pipe from the manifold is fixed to the transmission by the bracket there.  Effectively there is no need for a flex connection between those two points.  The pipe after that flexes in the hangers to absorb the rotation of the engine/transmission.

No springs and no flex pipe, that's what I also.
I put springs on last weekend, I don't know if its me, but I think its louder than when it was loose, as there is no way it can be louder based on how loose it was. I am edging just being me being paranoid, but will do a check this weekend to see whats up.
