I went out this morning and dug out some gasser European bumpers I've been sitting on for a few years, began soaking them in KROIL and taking them apart ~ I hope to make one really good pair for my Coupe, I have a few parts on order from Tom @ The Classic Center .
I'll also try to mount up my European tow ball, I don't have the inner supports so it'll only be for show and crash protection .
Close to empty fuel tank I'm going to wait for traffic to die down then see if I can make it to the ProPel station in The South Bay . .
The last fillup the trip odometer didn't reset properly so I'm not sure how accurate this economy check will be .
It shows 327 miles right now, the low fuel lamp went on @ 298, I know it's got more miles than that on this tank .
I was looking at older posts and discovered the last time I was in Las Vegas (? remember ? me standing in a large puddle of spilled dirty Diesel fuel with only used hose and wrong clamps ?) I got 28 MPG, the highest I've ever gotten out of this car .
