Damn, I looked at my 1st aide box lid and it's cracked. I looked it up and see that I bought a new one 10yrs ago (thought it was 5yrs), and the car's been outside the whole time. Oh well. It seems like when the trunk is shut the lid bounces up a bit, and eventually breaks, even if you never open the lid.
