[diesel_mercedes] 123D vs 124D

 

Hey all,
I am looking at buying an '87 300TDT, the 124 chassis. I found one with
310k on it and I'm looking for opinions of this chassis & the OM603 engine.

I'm happy with my baby Matilda an '83 123, just over 100k into her
million, is the 124's engine considered as bullet proof?

its a 617.951 engine runs good cold then lopes at idle when warm.Valves right,filters tight no air.injectors ran wvo two years ago
