RE: [Diesel-RVs] Re: HP/TQ Graph

The sweet spot on a diesel is where the torque peak is, on my ISL it is 1400
rpm. At that rpm I get my best fuel mileage.

Yes, I have plotted HP and torque on the same graph. The rest of your
post makes no sense, as we were talking about where the torque and HP
curves cross (and the lack of meaning to that), not where the "high
torque point" is.

Re: [Diesel-RVs] Toad Recommendations

It's Dec 31 and I just recieved this message. So sorry for the late responce. The differance is I have a stick. I love it. We usually don't have to drive it in downtown traffic and love the mileage and feel the stick is fun to drive. The only problem is when I get a phone call I give the phone to DW and hope she can snswer any questions. Many times it means were going out to dinner again.

Our '03 Honda Element's tow procedure is neutral, parking brake off, unlock steering column and Go! Interior is huge with seats folded up...we can haul two bikes totally inside standing up (Or two Great Danes if we needed to). 25 plus mpg, Honda quality (zero repairs for us in 60,000 miles). Well under 4,000 pounds.

The interior floor is a special vinyl and can actually be hosed out. I read a review once that said that the interior of the Element was spill proof, pizza proof and hurl proof. If that's all true your dogs should not be a problem.

Great tow vehicle.

I have a stick CRV and just connect and go. I do unlock the stering. Works great. In fact I usually load the back with fire wood believe it would work for your dogs but have seensome really big dogs.

Greg Vederoff <gregell@hughes.net> wrote: We have had two Jeep Grand Cherokees that almost fit your request. We
currently have an 04 Honda CRV that would probably have room for the dogs
with the rear seat down and is quite comfortable and under 3700 pounds. Does
require a little fiddling each morning before starting to tow.
