Hey Tony, earthquake this morning, centered in your neighborhood, Omak and Tonasket, shook our house pretty good followed by a loud boom. Only the 3'rd in the past 31 years. Yes, it's cold , frozen and snowing too. Max (got 4 spiked tires on my new Subaru)

Re: [diesel_mercedes] Re: 83 300SD Oil Pressure Gauge...fixed?
Maybe they changed things after 82 or before 81. But all my cars had Bourdon tube oil pressure gauges. They are entirely mechanical. A flexible hose carries engine oil pressure to the gauge where its pressure is displayed. Other than that your gauge seems to be behaving just like mine. It pegs at 3 atmospheres of pressure until it warms up and then it only drops down at idle. Bogy. --- On Thu, 11/17/11, CaitlinDean <tinymachine@gmail.com> wrote:

[diesel_mercedes] Alternate grease for sunroof rails and cable W123
Anyone know an alternative grease in lieu of the Mercedes recommended grease for the sunroof rails and cables?
Thanks,
Jim
