If they wait till farther toward top dead center than these om617s do then they can inject into hotter air. Plus they have a higher compression ratio to begin with. Does anybody know how these new diesels start? My friend just bought a new Sprinter 4WD . He was here for a visit and in the morning it was like 2 degrees. He went out and turned the key and presto it started. No glo, no nothing, just like a gas car. How do they do this? If I had to start either one of my 240's like that, they would not. I can always get them started but it takes a while. Max
