[diesel_mercedes] Whew

 

One lousy beer to help celebrate a Friend's 47th birthday after 17 hours awake and i was gone .

I took a pain pill and a bath then passed out watching the T.V . news with SWMBO , I missed work to - day .

On the other hand , as I was searching around Torrance / Gardena etc. for a Mercedes Partshaus

I discovered a VW Partshaus on Prairie Av. that sells the red (16A) Blue (25A) and White (8A) ceramic fuses for only .25 CENTS each in the proper copper strip .


I need a buncha routine service parts for my '85 300TD : SLS filter , one can of SLS fluid , Power Steering filter , valve cover gasket , maybe a few more bits and bobs , anyone know a walk in stop in the L.A. Metro area ? .


We're taking it on a road trip in a week or so and I'd like to go over things first .


BTW : SWMBO says she now likes driving the wagon more than the old 240D so mayhap i'll get it from her soon .
