Check this site out from Diesel Power Magazine about a 1997 Dodge Ram 3500 Dualie that is getting 30 mpg. The truck only used about $10.00 in parts so I am inclined to believe it. Basically, it is all about aerodynamics. Makes me want to invest in some duct tape so i can start taping up a lot of stuff.

It is definitely NOT true. My 126 gets over 30 on road trips, heavily laden. Around town, driving to Court, to P-a-P, to the pizza place, etc. is more in the 27-28 range, very consistently. I agree with Brian, any difference in mpg plus or minus will be almost insignificant. Buy what you enjoy driving. My 300sd always gets 25-27 mpg, and the car rides best on the freeway at 85 mph, and being 6'3" it fits me.

the engine lift and see which mount seperates?? Is the third mount at the
transmission tail mount? The noise is comming from the right front area. I did
some doughnuts in the parking lot and I couldn't recreate the noise. However I
