[diesel_mercedes] 92 300D for sale in southern NH

 

I have a coworker that is selling a 92 300D, grey/silver. It has about
245K miles. He says it is rust free, but has constant smoke from the
exhaust. Asking $700.

I haven't seen the car myself. I'm just letting the group know if
someone is interested.

If someone is interested, reply to me. I don't have his personal
email/phone yet and don't want to send his company email/phone.

I have 3 pictures of it, but couldn't upload them to the group photos.

[diesel_mercedes] Selling my 65 190D

 

I bought it around 3 years ago and I don't have the money to  work on it. It needs a full restore. Starts but runs rough...I don't know if I did it right (If everything was tight enough or what) but I checked the compression on the first and second glow plug holes. The first one came to 100 and the second stayed on 0. So I'm not sure if i did it wrong or if it is bad. I think I am in over my head. Windshield is cracked but all other glass is good. Body has typical 190 rust on drivers floor board and  behind the front wheel wells. Terrible black paint job. Chrome is decent, rims, three are great and one is a little dinged. Fuel pump is working. Glow plugs are working. Starter is working. Interior is hard and cracked. It makes me sad to sell it. It is in NE Missouri (KCMO). Looking for offers...If anyone knows anyone. (I don't want to get it scrapped)

I didn't know these were available as 4WD.

Buddy of mine had a RWD for his plumbing business a few years back; he bought it new but sold it for a new Dodge van (after Merc and Dodge corps divorced). The new Dodge burned so much oil that between Boston and New York he'd have to add some ---that was considered "normal operation," according to the dealer. My buddy lamented the loss of the Sprinter.
