I took yet another day off to drive SWMBO around, came home and read/snoozed in my pain chair out side on the back patio.....
What a wonderful day ! 70° F or so , clear for the most part ~ the Sta. Ana Winds are just beginning to kick up so some dust in the atmosphere but none close by .
We're supposed to get 100 ° Thursday > so about 6PM I got my lazy butt out of the chair and grabbed my new bucket, aerosol can of carpet cleaner and natural cellulose sponge (gotta love the Dollar Tree Store !) and went out tot he '82 240D, removed the carpets and vacuumed the bare floors a bit, using the fingernail brush to loosen up sandy bits and crud, then sprayed the carpets and floors with the foamy carpet cleaner, worked it in with the soft fingernail brush then used the clean damp sponge to easily remove 90 % of the oily grime the carpets had here and there, went over the floors with the brush and sponge to remove the coffee I've spilled in the car over the years .
It smells *much* nicer n there now ~ I still have to clean the passenger side carpets but hopefully to - morrow I'll install the driver's side carpets and Lloyd mats .
It's really nice to read and snooze in the shade underneath the lattice, I saw no clouds but every so often upon waking up I'd look straight up and see a tiny aircraft passing in the cloudless sky.....
Life is good .
