Nate,
I have a few turbos, one from Brian's earlier blown engine. Might be in parts. I think it had the earlier turbo. On my current turbo, I just capped my AIR off, as the system had vacuum leak at the valve, on the fender.
Should be something in that box for you to use. Too busy to dig at the moment

A/C & Biobor used, the tertiary filter was very clean, dare I hope the dreaded fungus is gone ? .
402 miles, 21 MPG, sad but, no smoke and since I backed the ALDA adjuster out as far as it'll go the power is good and off idle throttle response is better too, I occurs to me that I didn't lap the turbo's pop off valve even though it had been stuck immobile, I think maybe I'll overhaul an earlier turbo (pre 1984) that doesn't have the triangular A.I.R. vacuum valve on it and lap the pop off valve when I do so, give that a try and install my non EGR manifolds at the same time .
Now all I needs do is find an old turbo languishing in someone's junk pile to begin with .
Low fuel lamp on @ 398 miles .
