You won't believe some of the stupidity to come out of Australia at
times - New South Wales Police Service fuelled this Nissan Patrol (3
litre common rail direct injection turbo diesel) up with petrol.....
that's a friend of mine's Hino tilt-slide tow truck the Patrol is on the
back of!

The Western Australian Police put Diesel Exhaust Fluid (AdBlue here in
Australia) into the fuel tank of one of their drug/booze buses - that
stuff is corrosive to fuel system components. This little incident cost
WA Police A$25,000 to recitify!

My fault entirely. Did not read past the price at the pump. On my way back through Madison, I pulled through the station just to be sure. It was clearly marked Premium.
Added another 1/2 quart of oil yesterday. She's somewhat smoother. This will suffice until the tank gets a lot lower, then I will do fresh fuel. My concern was damaging an injector or pump valve or scorching a piston.
