O.K., I went by the indie shop this morning and they already had the tranny out and the filter and valve body off ~ the outside of the filter ws covered in little bits of something and brownish ATF, lying on top of the valve body was a 6' long machined steel rod , I have no idea what it was for, I know bupkis about slush boxes .
I took pictures but this ancient Acer lap top won't let me look at nor down load images from my cell 'phone ~ it tells it it sees the cell 'phone and charges it but that's all .
Dammit .
Stand by , we're in the middle of a heat wave, it was 109* in Pasadena at noon to - day, I of course being stupid was out side working in it and got quite a bit done all told .
I even fixed the ABS brakes in my 2001 Ford Ranger trucklet .
