Diesel RVs: 03/05/11

[diesel_mercedes] Pin Striping On Beige ?

Hi all ;

My W-123 300TD is Pastel Beige (original color) and now it looks *so* pretty I'm thinking I should have it hand pin striped like the dealers did way back when .

My Coupe has two colored pin stripes , the lower one is brown and the upper one is lighter , I think this will look nice on the beige wagon ~ anyone out there have links to pix of beige Mercedes with pin stripes ? .

Even my son says it's quieter .

I just took it out of the garage ,SWMBO wants me to take here somewheres in it , sort of like a reverse Driving Miss Daisy except Miss Shirley is cuter 'n a button unlike Jessica Tandy....

I have a 1999 E300 that has been running great on weather-determining concentrations (10% - 99%) of WVO for 75k miles. Zero conversion. Filter it well and dump it in the gas tank.

Thanks for the info! Very encouraging! New glow plugs arrived, so I hope to be brewing and on the road soon.
