What a neat old song. For me as a kid, it was a '70 Kawasaki Mach 3, triple 2 stroke, you could hear me for miles.
While taking a listen on youTube, I saw that Édith Piaf did a version.

Home, sick with pneumonia, though getting better. No car repair today, though I'm happy the AC is working, when I head to the doc later today. Close to 100* here.
I sure do ! =8-) .
In the 1970's during the C.B. craze it was often played on there& dedicated to me buy a guy .
Strange times .
Back then I rode a 1965 Harley - Davidson FL Panhead ex L.A.P.D. , I'd rebuilt it from the ground up .
When my Son was young I'd always sing to him in the car , this is one of many we'd sing to - gether .
It's HOT out ! .
I just took SWMBO to the nail parlor ,checked the tires in the '82 240D , washed the windows etc.
We're supposedly on vacation and were supposed to head out this morning .
Now she says to - morrow , we'll see .
Glad the AC works ! .
