Who has what oil pressure ? .

This freshly rebuilt (Vs. overhauled) 240D engine has IMO, low oil pressure .

If they do good works and he's happy with it, no harm no foul .

Were I rich I'd still be happy with my basic old beaters .

I worked on cleaning the interior of the 240D to - day, last night at the show & shine everyone liked how much I've cleaned up the exterior .

To - morrow I have to more events, going to try and take my 11YO Foster boy as he liked cars......

The box and all the part # labels clearly say "MADE IN CZECHOSLOVAKIA" but they're still using the original tooling so the "MADE IN GERMANY" letters are still molded into the plastic .

The driver's side door appears to be made either on old tooling or reverse engineered as it has the exact same DOT certification #'s but not the country of origin and it uses non matching colored epoxy to glue the two pieces .

As you can see in both pictures, these really brighten up the front end .

This means it went 114 miles (almost entirely freeway miles with gentle throttle) after the low fuel lamp lit .

Sadly, only 24.8 MPG, even when the engine was worn out and running poorly it got better fuel economy .

I may have to check and change the injectors .

It also appears there's a damp spot on the top of the injector pump, I need to wash it well and see ~ if so back it goes as I paid serious $ to the place in San Fransisco to have it and the injectors rebuilt .

It does run like a top *;) winking .
