[diesel_mercedes] Additives

1. It dipped below 70F here in the Los Angeles area, so I added 4 oz of Winter (white container) Diesel Kleen. I know that technically "winter" is still 21 days away, but there is snow in the mountains.
2. Had a drip, drip leak out of the power steering pump. Couple of mechanics wanted to piddle fiddle with the pump. I chose to try Lucas Power Steering Leak Stop. It has stopped the leak so far (2 weeks) - hooray for Lucas.
3. Transmission was slipping. Thought I would have to take it in to "Victor" for a post fix adjustment. While checking the dip stick, it were dry as a bone. Two quarts of trans fluid solved that problem, but raised concerns about a shop that fixes trannies, but doesn't run the car and then top off the fluid.
4. Shockingly, I went 320 miles on 12.0 gallons (26.6 mpg). At the moment I will say it is new tires, properly inflated, and superior driving skills.
