[diesel_mercedes] Re: electrical not working

I forgot to mention no hazard either.
I'll take a look at the hazard switch then see if it has a problem.

We've also had problems with the hazard switch affecting the directionals.  Spraying the contacts with WD-40 helped, but we eventually replaced it

[diesel_mercedes] electrical not working

A new to me 84 300D
I've straightened out a few things.
One electrical item was rear brake lights was just a fuse.
I took all the fuses out and lightly filed the ends to get a best connection.

I can't get any power to the turn signals, dash lights, no antenna action, rear passenger window does not activate.

I found two wires with fuses inline that are set aside at the fuse box, I can see they would be add on and I think that would make one the alarm system.

I see the alarm system and a red bulb sticking out of the dash underside cover but no light inside it, just an empty red shell.

I plugged the two wires into fuses but it did not help the turn signals.

I picked up an additional turn switch and cluster but installing them helped nothing.

The only thing I can think is that there is a short in the wiring that has caused this.

Anyone with any ideas? additional fuses to check?
