Re: [diesel_mercedes] Any updates on the Ceramic Brake pads?

Mercedes Source was conducting a test 2 or 3 months ago. You might drop Kent B. an email and ask what his findings were.

Any updates on the Ceramic Brake pads?

I'm on for this weekend.
My brake pad wear light is on solid now, though last weekend it was just
starting to flash when the brakes were applied.

I have 2 sets of ceramic pads, wear sensors, new flexi brakelines, and a
fresh bottle of brake fluid, so I'm ready to go.

I also have a bottle of Diesel purge to run through it, and some new
filters.

If I get on a roll, I'll try to cover a bit more of the 30K service needs.

[diesel_mercedes] Re: OT question regarding re-chroming parts winshield fabrication

I' m glad someone asked about the bumper rubber, as I need to do this
too. The rubber has come loose on one corner, and now the loosening is
moving across the bumper.
I'm guessing someone bumped me in the parking lot to get it started,
