It sounds like 12 is about right.
repeat..... I did a quick search and found this forum, which said
"16psi is already WAY too much. 12psi is all your engine can use, anything more is just heating the intake air."

Oh, so I don't need to go to Medical School now ? .
I did it, the adjustment is internal so you have to remove the cover and adjust it, button it back up wipe off the blood and take it for a test drive, see how much boost you have .
The adjustment is NOT linear, so after three (or was it four ?) times of taking it apart and re adjusting it I now have 12.5 pounds of maximum boost and am far from home in a hotel room in Desert Hot Springs having driven the bejesus out of it all day long, the hot soaking tub with air bubbles is nice to relax your tired and sore muscles .
I'll prolly take one more stab at it and if it lands between 13 ~ 15# I'll call that part a day and move on .
I took a couple pictures and will include them on wastegate part III .

I think Mercedessource has some information showing the unit off the car. You would probably need a registered proctologist to do it on the car.

O.K., I've spent a few _hours_ searching and never saw a DIY for how to do this, I know the basic nuts and bolts but want to read how someone has done it, hopefully on the car and with pictures, maybe even tips.....
