The picture actually does help. If you look at part # 101 it has a line going toward the transmission. Actually, it goes toward a "thing" on the transmission. That "thing" is what I need. It attaches to the selector shaft on the transmission and allows the shifting rod, part #92, to turn the shaft on the transmission to select a "gear".

No. That moves a link rod under the car. The other end of that rod goes through a hole in a piece of steel. The other end of that piece of steel is mounted on the selector shaft on the tranny.
