NO A/C, K100 fungus killer used, 25 MPG's .
As I pulled into the gas station I looked at the micronic paper filter I added after the clear plastic intake screen, it was _full_ of gray colored crud .
I changed it and filled the tank, added more D100.......
Sunday/Monday I used some dilute solution Phosphoric Acid and water to clean a 1959 VW gas tank of rust and accumulated old varnish etc. , it's shiny bare steel in side now and I have some solution left over ~ if/when I get this VW reliable maybe I should dismount the Mercedes' tank and use the dilute solution to clean it and hopefully kill off the remaining bits of fungus .
