Topped the car off yesterday. Morning stumble and smoke is gone, idle is
smooth and power is better than ever at low RPM. If my injectors or
precombustion chambers were the least bit clogged, I would say they are
clean now.

Do not try this at home. The suspense is not worth it.

Interesting that the 'squarelines" ('75, '76 W115) are getting significantly poorer fuel mileage.  I would have thought that being smaller and lighter, they would do much better.  Perhaps the W123s are more aerodynamic...?
