Well, it’s the image before the one that pops up.  Bill

A question about the 5th image, IMG_20151129_170935.

I see two (castellated) nuts, and there are probably two on the other side. What are they holding on?  Bill in Oregon

Dexter ;

If there's no nut on the axle's flange then there has to be an inner clip or pin....

No old Glenn's manual or anything to look at ? .

Maybe the exploded parts diagrams in either the EPC or the English Partshaus Bill often posts about ? .

This is a first water mystery .

I'm wondering how you managed to post a photo in the middle of the message ! .

We are trying to remove the rear axle to get the rear outer bearings.  We have used a slide hammer and a tool we made that mounts on the wheel and have been pulling pretty hard but can't get anything to move.  All the pictures and diagrams I have looked at show no C-Clip on the end of the axle in the differential that we have to remove, and the differential doesn't split in half to easily get inside.  There is a big whole that seems to be an access hole to remove these nuts that supposedly holds in a plate, and that plate holds in the axle instead.  We took all those off but no luck.  I took some pictures, and the one on the back of the wheel there seems to be a bolt or nut that I highlighted and I am thinking that might be holding it in.  Any ideas?Inline image
