Yep ;
If I were an Automobile , they'd scrap me posthaste .
I went back to Kaiser for my bi-weekly P.T. checkup and convinced the Therapist (a very good one) that it is time to move forward and look into surgery for my back .
I still tinker a bit here & there but spend far more time writhing in pain , this is no fun atall .

[diesel_mercedes] Re : Dash Cover
Please take some before , during and after pictures , I really want to do this but saw many horrible ones over my years in The Auto Trade so I'm skittish to ruin my beloved Diesel Sports Coupe .

[diesel_mercedes] Re: Darn those plastic top radiators.
I wrote up a note yesterday, but the computer seems to have eaten it.
Popped in the new radiator yesterday morning, not too tough a job, the hardest part was taking off the fan, which you do not have to do, but imo made the job easier, careful with the fan bolts, the heads round very nicely. Car seems to run cooler now, To test, went over to the flaps to get a refund on the gallon of antifreeze and the rotten valve cover gasket, 65mph up the mountain with the a/c, seems to run about 15 deg cooler than the old rad.
Nate, I am jealous, I bought one of the two plastic topped rads available in BC, we are so far back in the weeds that we have to take what is available at the only flaps for about 75 miles.

[diesel_mercedes] Re: Re - Max OT
I am so happy that Max is recovering. I was really worried about him. I am "back" now. I am recovering from kidney surgery and it is a long trip back to good health. I miss, most of all not being able to work/drive my Mercedes diesels. I will be lurking in the shadows till then.
Best of luck to all,
