[diesel_mercedes] Amazonas Moto

 


I remember it very well .

I wanted to buy one just to see as I'm a die hard VW fanboi .

The Brazilian salesman who came to Scotty's shop "Vintage VW Parts" in the late 1970's (?) had some articles on it and I tried to get some info, he though they were a joke .

I saved a BMW /2 Moto 1200C.C. (40HP) VW powered chopper from the crusher but I never did make it run .

Well it's _different_ .

Too bad he's an idiot who's willing to thrash it instead of making it a good road bike .

I bet it gets lots of miles per gallon but how does it ride/handle ? .
