I fixed my glove box latch years ago, though I remember putting a small nail through the center of the mechanism and maybe glue. It all depends on what part is broken.

Re the glove box latch: I have used the junk yard route, the ebay route, and the repair it with epoxy route. As Kent from Mercedes Source has said, It is not one of the better engineered parts on your MB.
