[diesel_mercedes] Re: In Car Techniques for Non-Stoppers

I disconnected the door locks from the vac system using the tried and trusty golf T. Then had to manually lock doors but swmbo did not have to pop the hood. Now door locks are reconnected and all is well.

Plan "B" - leave the drivers door open or turn the interior light on.  When the light gets brighter the relay is off.

The guy got the scratches I inflicted out (missed one on roof) Next will get the lower body painted to fix a couple of rust areas, front under the bumper & just in front of the rear wheels. The car is silver with black interior. gonna paint up to the rub strip - OK what color do I paint it?
I am thinking charcoal, as I think there was a stock 2 tone charcoal & silver. What thinkest thou?
