And those junkyards , never forget the California junkyards , simply crammed with what are considered good used cars anywhere else on Earth...

[diesel_mercedes] Re: Desert Trip
I lived in Houston for a while, in the early 70's.
Winter wasn't half bad, aaah summer, it was miserable, even at night.
Now Galviston and all the way down the coast to Mexico, that is real nice.
Cheers,

Yesterday I went to the Ontario and the Pomona PAP's in search of a w123 passenger door handle so I can just switch my lock. There were over 25 w126's (almost all gassers) and other assorted MB beasts, but not a w123 in the bunch. Today I will swing by the Monrovia / El Monte PAP.
Those old w123 diesels just don't end up in the junk yards as frequently as the w126 gassers - must be a story there somewhere.

It's super nice now. High 70's daytime and low 60's at night.
It's in August that you don't want to be here.
Right, seems to me, that last week you were trying to talk Max & I into coming there. Now you make it sound not so good.
PS Max keep an eye out for us, will be around Colville in the Toyota.
Tony.
