What a cool idea for a shop! 
 
FYI the last time I spoke to the guy that bought my car, he still couldn't figure out what was wrong with it either!  Make us feel better knowing someone that buys, fixes & sells many of these couldn't get it to run right either!  Sure am glad I got rid of it!

I am going to call and see if they have things like oil catchers. you know those telescoping catch basins that go under the oil pan. I think just to be able to put it up and take a good look at the underside is worth the money. The shop is about 30 minutes from me.
