You might check the junction box on the passenger side above the wheel well under the hood.  Make sure the connections are clean and tight.  The connections on the starter all must be tight.  That is a harder job.  Lawrence Rhodes

I finally ran the whole tank after my trip tru the car. Ac used the whole time, no freeway, just 2 lane hwy, much slower driving . 31 mpg. 1980 240 4spd. Scary fire season happening up here. I just installed  a spark arrestor on my car, tractor and 4-wheeler. Max
