[diesel_mercedes] Noisy Diesels

 

Like most any old (OLD, with 1950's technology) Diesel engines does.....

The other Sunday I went to a show & shine, parked at the very end before anyone else showed up so I could get out easier, when I finally get back to my car some butthead has parked right over the white line between us and here I'm driving my Coupe with the long door and no door check.....

I scuttle up to my car cursing out loud and begin trying to open the door without touching the next (brand new) car, dropping my cane, falling down, etc., etc. when I hear a soft voice saying " oops ! I'm sorry, let me move for you right now !" ~ oh crap ~ it's a brandy new Diesel Mercedes and the guy was sitting in it with the engine idling and window down...... .

It didn't make a sound, I swear it .
