As it turned out , I couldn't wait and went by Friday afternoon as they were closing and it's still there ~ nasty paint but amazingly rust free ~ this car would have made an easy Concourse restoration .
Sadly another Metter found and cherry picked it severely but Tom and I went there early Saturday and I was able to get close to $1,000 worth of hard to find Metropolitan parts for $98. before the sun beat me up and I had to quit .
THANK YOU for mentioning it , if ever anyone sees a Metropolitan Nash for parts , please let me know as no matter how bad it is , I can get parts off it .
Hopefully Tom will write a bit about the interesting day we had there , the next vehicle over was a nice if tired 1950 Chevrolet 3100 series Advanced Design pickup truck , there was a near riot of happy campers gleefully stripping it of all the new chrome and other parts , by the time we left , little was left but the bare cab , frame and engine block sans head .
