Look at the photos ~ the European ones don't have the secondary yellow numbers .

Depending on what country it is from , it can be KPH -or- MPH , I don't really care .

Those are scary expen$ive ~ a few years ago our Junk Yards were littered with these , I shoulda bought one .

I'm not so sure being up before dawn is a curse .

Last  night I remained up to 03:45 , got back up again about 07:30 , managed NOT to watch the Rose Parade although I did giggle at those poor saps who were shivering in the 36* F cold @ 07:30...

The best I can find diesel around here is $2.87.  Unleaded is at $1.62 at the Costcos, so, I'm continuing to drive the 944 until the price of diesel catches, uh, down....

Plus, I'm still breaking the the 944 (no have 1800 mile on my rebuild).

It would keep for a while. I'm still burning 7 or 8 year old diesel in my generator. I saw off road for about $2.07, on road $2.59, reg. gas was down to $2.10 or so. Max

Maybe the Lady from Purrefct Harmony Farm in TEXAS czan tell you or at least tell you where NOT to go as that's often more important .

Blowing a head gasket is a rare thing so remember to look at the cooling system too .

We're still getting hosed in California .

RUG is dripping fast  , Diesel Fuel not so much .

Just to - day I had to fill up the 84/85 Euro. Spec. wagon , the first place in Arcadia was $3.05 , not too bad and the low fuel light had been on for some time , SWMBO will cut off my sex life if I were to run it out of fuel with four Teenagers on board...

Anyway , the pump was just 8berely* dribbling out the fuel , I held the nozzle wide open to no improvement , then after about 15 dang minutes it slowly stopped pumping at all no matter what ~ I asked the guy in the Office and he said " er , whut ? we have 21,000 gallons in the ground " so I gave up and motored off with 4.46 gallons .

Finished my errands and had a nice luncheon with SWMBO , the Foster boys and Tom , headed back to South Central Los Angeles where I found $2.85 / gallon and tanked it up ~ I must have really come close to walking as in total it took over 18 gallons .
