Thanx Guys ;
I'm always tinkering on something, I don't know if you alls want to hear about my vintage Motocycle fiddles and other things .
When I was young in the early 1960's there was always lots of junk lying 'round but zero $ to buy anything so I learned that if I could fix a thing, I was allowed mostly to keep and enjoy it .
German vehicles have always been designed to be taken apart further than parts are available for repairs so I decided to sharpen my skills by trying to tinker things back to life, it's very rewarding and often I get feed back on how to do it better or where to find a part (still looking for electric motor brushes, hint, hint) or handy tips & tricks like the "Zoom Spout" oiler for electric motors, a wonderful thing everyone should have on hand .
To day it was 65* F and muggy so I had to run the AC in my Coupe, when first I started the car the blower didn't come on until I pressed the defrost button, then it roared into life, this tells me the brushes are prolly worn out .
I also need to test then take apart and clean the fuel sender I bought recently, I'm only @ 1/2 tank and I want it ready to go the next time the low fuel lamp lights .
We used to have far more members and some from around the world but the blush has truly gone off the Diesel Rose, not many are willing to spend the time and effort to maintain an elderly German car.....
? What kind of Citroens ? . I used to have a 1959 Citroen 2CV - AZ, it was a fun little car and had the centrifugal clutch .......

Nice to hear someone is working one their cars. These list get dull sometimes during the winter. You people in the perpetual summer climes do make me jealous though!
I remember the activities on the Citroen lists would switch hemispheres. Never a dull moment. Do we have any Aussies or Kiwis here?
