Thanks Mark,

I'll look up the details on the b2 symptoms, and talk to my guy.
I doubt the b2 has been replaced, yet when I asked if my earlier
problems were related to b2 at the time, the guy said no.
If I remember correctly, the b2 deals with the 1-2 shift, and other
parts deal with the 2-3, 3-4 shifts

Can you wrap it with tape and put a wide hose clamp on it where the ¼-inch gap is?  Bill in Oregon
