Re: [diesel_mercedes] Now air bubbles coming from tank!

Trish, When Kevin blew on the line, there may have been a tiny weak
spot and he blew it out. The injection pump has a suction pump in it,
also. It is sucking on the tube going to the fuel tank. If there is
a tiny leak anywhere, the suction pump will suck in air. Ask Kevin to
double check the clamp he took off to blow out the line. It is old
and may not be clamping properly. Tracking down these air leaks is
difficult - Good luck. Bobby

Does the primer pump leak?  Are there any loose connections or weaping fuel hoses?  How is the fuel tank vent?  I know, probably more questions than answers.  Diesels don't like air in  the lines!

[diesel_mercedes] Now air bubbles coming from tank!

WHAT THE HECK????

Kevin blew on the line to hopefully clear the crud off of the filter in the tank.  He got fuel into the clear filter, got the car running, then it conked out.  Now he's seeing air bubbles in the clear filter!  He's actually seen them come up from the tank.

Help.... :(

At this point I'm hoping the shop burns down with the car in it.
