OK, I did an aux fan upgrade on my 84 300D, blows a lot more air, draws less amps, and is a lot quieter than original. It is a 12" Champion brand fan with curved blades, you have to remove the blade and turn it over to make it a "push" unit (comes as a "pull" out of the box). I bought a 2-pack off ebay for $60 including shipping from seller named koolradiatorscoolingsystems

Works great. My 82 240D is next.
